📘 What Is EOTAS?

EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) is a legal provision under the Children and Families Act 2014. It allows local authorities to provide tailored education outside of mainstream or special schools when traditional settings are not suitable for the learner’s needs.

This can include home-based learning, virtual learning, specialist centres, or a blend of options.
